The catalogue of the exhibition Art in Art which presents works of 60 artists from different countries. This is yet another MOCAK project in the series that confronts important issues of our civilisation with their artistic interpretation. The publication contains both a sizeable section with high quality reproductions of the artists who took part in the exhibition and also theoretical section, which contains Metapictures – the essay, hitherto unpublished into Polish, by the prominent American researcher of visual culture W.J.T. Mitchell as well as essays by Maria Poprzęcka, Maria Anna Potocka and Joanna Wojnicka.
