Professor Mieczysław Porębski (1921–2012), a prominent Polish art historian, donated to the Museum a part of his library including paintings by his friends, some of whom were members of the Krakow Group, as well as by Ryszard Winiarski, Jerzy Stajuda, Jan Tarasin and Andrzej Wróblewski. The Professor’s Collection has been assembled in one of MOCAK’s halls, and arranged to resemble his own studio in his Krakow flat.
