Yoshihiro Suda
(b. 1969) Sculpture, installation. He creates wooden sculptures, made in traditional Japanese technique. He combines the natural feel of the materials used with hyper-realistic rendering of detail. He places his works away from the traditional exhibition halls of galleries and museums. He creates the impression that they are an organic part of the space surrounding them, a space that is alive. The subtlety of the works links it to the aesthetics of traditional Japanese graphic art.
