On Friday 20 March at 4.30 pm, the Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Poland, the Institute of Roman Philology of the Jagiellonian University and the Pedagogical University invite you to MOCAK for a debate on women writers and women’s literature in Francophone literature.

The debate, organised as part of the Francophone Month in MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow will welcom two Belgian writers associated with the theatre and visual arts: Veronika Mabardi and Annick Walachniewicz. They will be talking about the creative process from the point of view of a contemporary woman artist, as well as from the vantage point of a woman whose identity has been marked by her own family history and by History with a capital ‘H’ – in the case of Annick Walachniewicz, the shadow of World War II.

The event will take place in MOCAK- audiovisual hall. Free admission. Limted places. In French, with Polish translation.
