Visiting the exhibition Painting – The Golden Medium of Art. The Walking Tour for carers of young children

The Walking Tour is a series of guided tours of current exhibitions tailored to the needs of carers of young children. All carers and the grandparent/s welcome!

On Wednesday 13 December at 11.15 am in a small group we will be looking at selected works in the exhibition Painting – The Golden Medium of Art. The tours in this series provide an opportunity to share and reflect on the  experiences of parenting.

 

Pushchairs and children can take part, and additional facilities will be available:

-         a rest-and-play station ( equipped with blankets, cushions and sensory toys) in the exhibition space;

-         comfortable pouffes and chairs for breastfeeding;

-         the option of parking your pram at the MOCAK Library;

-         the option of borrowing a baby sling for the duration of the visit;

-         changing table;

-         support of helpful volunteers;

-         a book collection for the youngest readers and a play area in the MOCAK Library.

 

Group leader: Katarzyna Homoncik, a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, an artist and educator, who works at the MOCAK Art Knowledge Department.

 

The guided tour will last approximately 60 minutes. The ticket, priced at 20 PLN, also gives access on the day to all the exhibitions in the Museum.
