UKSW students in MOCAK!
On 3 January 2012 lecturers and students (of museum specialism, art history and archeology) at the University of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński (UKSW) in Warsaw visited MOCAK.
The session began with the art historian Professor Dorota Folga-Januszewska talking to MOCAK’s Director dr Maria Anna Potocka about the history of the creation of the Museum and its Collection.
Next, the participants split into groups and visited Professor Porębski’s Library as well as the Collection, where they performed a number of creative activities. They didn’t even overlook the warehouse, usually out of bounds to visitors.
The session also focused on the architectural concept of the Museum and its external and internal layout. Finally, the students viewed the exhibition Viennese Actionism. The Opposite Pole of Society and other selected temporary exhibitions.
