Working together with the Association of the JU PhD Students
On 5 July a group of JU PhD students took part in a tailor-made guided tour of the exhibition History in Art and the exhibition of the MOCAK Collection. The session was led by Delfina Piekarska, assistant to the curator of the exhibition History in Art. The occasion inaugurated MOCAK’s co-operation with the Association of the JU PhD Students.

Yael Bartana... and Europe Will Be Stunned
Showing of films which combine into an installation by the Israeli artist Yael Bartana, who is representing Poland at the 54th Art Biennale in Venice. The project …and Europe Will Be Stunned consists of the films: Nightmares (2007), Wall and Tower (2009) and Coup d’Etat (2011).

Presentation of a new collection of Adam Zagajewski’s essays, in which the erudite poet, a citizen of the world, reveals before us a totally private world of memories and recaptures the Lvov past of his family. He movingly portrays his father and his own childhood and youth.
