A series of encounters with young reserearchers The Avant-garde of Central and Eastern Europe – Innovation or Plagiarism? carried out at the Faculty of Polish of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow has been financed by a grant from the National Programme of the Development of Humanities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The main aim of the project is to find the answer to the question whether it is possible to see the avant-garde movements of our part of Europe as a cohesive artistic genre and if so, what would make it distinct from Western and Russian movements.
