The Creative Collection in Nowa Huta

On 13 September come to the Festival of European funds at the Com-Com Zone Nowa Huta.
Throughout the day, in the space organised by MOCAK, there will be available creative open space – complete with beach balls and beach loungers. There, you are all welcome to create your very own artwork inspired by a work of your choice from the MOCAK Collection. At MOCAK stand, you will be able to find out more about what MOCAK has been up to and buy our most recent publications.
1 pm – 2.30 pm – artistic workshop for children Unusual Stained-glass Windows, inspired by works from the Museum’s Collection. The children will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with works of art including those by Rafał Bujnowski and created a series of unusual stained-glass windows of their own. No pre-booking necessary – attendance on first-come first-served basis.
3 pm – 4.30 pm – artistic workshop That’s Me!, inspired by the exhibition S/he, currently running at MOCAK. As part of the workshop, children, young people and the brave adults will be working with colouring books that will amusingly show the different lifestyles that one can adopt.
Throughout the event, the competition will continue to select the winners amongst the works inspired by an artwork from the MOCAK Collection. Reproductions of the works in the Collection will be available on the MOCAK stand. You can either bring in a work that you have made earlier or make it on the spot. The participants will take part in the draw to win a group museum lesson and 10 individual prizes of publications and art objects provided by the Museum. An additional Special Prize will be also be funded by the Museum’s staff. The draw will take place at 6 pm at MOCAK stand and the results will be announced immediately. The winners will be notified by e-mail and telephone.
