On 6 December 2022 the Mayor of the City of Krakow appointed the Museum Council. It brings together people from different backgrounds who are involved in MOCAK’s activities and who provide their insights. The Council, oversees the completion of the Museum’s set goals and also assesses and approves the annual activity plan.

The Council of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, appointed by the Mayor of the City of Krakow:

• Prof. Dorota Folga Januszewska – former President of the Polish Branch of ICOM, Deputy Director of the King Jan III Sobieski Palace Museum in Wilanów, member and Chair of the Museum Council during its 2^nd term;
• Prof. Jerzy Hausner – University of Economics, OEES organiser, member of the Museum Council in the 1^st term;
• Piotr Krajewski – Chief Curator of WRO, member of the Museum Council during the 1^st term;
• Janusz Majcherek – philosopher, publicist;
• Katarzyna Olesiak – Director of the Department of Culture and National Heritage of the City of Krakow, member of the Museum Council during the 2^nd term;
• Janusz Palikot – businessman, former MP;
• Jacek Prusek – businessman, owner of Diagnostyka;
• Beata Stankiewicz – painter;
• Agata Wąsowska–Pawlik – Director of the International Cultural Centre.
