The screenings take place on Fridays at 9 pm under the arches at MOCAK. Free entry.

Friday 8 July, 9 pm,
Code Blue

(2011) directed by Urszula Antoniak

Running Time: 1 h 20 min

The film is an intimate look at illness, suffering, redemption, secrets and intimacy. The main character Marian (Bien de Moor), is a nurse at a terminal-ill ward. She is devoted to her patients, at times even helping them reach a state of peace. In return, she collects small objects belonging to the deceased patients. Marian lives alone and leads a lonely life. There are, however, moments in which she badly wants to be intimate with others. One day she notices a new neighbour. Through an experience in which they jointly witness an act of violence, they forge a relationship that intensifies and culminates in a powerful finale.

In Dutch with Polish subtitles.
