Slow Art Day
26.04.2014 at 12 noon
On 26 April from 12 noon to 2 pm we would like to invite everyone to participate in another edition of Slow Art Day at MOCAK.
As in previous years, the attendees will be invited to look slowly and closely at five pre-assigned works of art from the MOCAK Collection, The Mieczysław Porębski Library and the temporary exhibitions.
With the help of the Museum's staff and volunteers, through asking simple questions, the participants will try to explore the meanings of works which can easily be missed while viewing the exhibitions in a hurry. Short practical tasks will also facilitate contact with art.
The event will be continued in the MOCAK Café, where the participants will have an opportunity to share and discuss the experience.
Slow Art Day is a national campaign, which for four years has simultaneously taken place in several dozen museums and art galleries. To find out more about it visit: www.dzienwolnejsztuki.pl
Participation in the event is free of charge. To sign up email Maria Prawelska (firstname.lastname@example.org)
