Psychoanalysis and Art – lecture by Michael Parsons

On Saturday 25 October at 6 pm at MOCAK Prof. Michael Parsons will give a lecture entitled Psychoanalysis and Art: Listening and Looking Outwards and Inwards. The event has been co-organised by the Polish Psychoanalytical Society.
Dr Michael Parsons is a training analyst of the British Psychoanalytical Society and member of L’Association psychanalytique de France. He took his first degree in philosophy and classical literature at Oxford University, then trained and graduated as a doctor at the Middlesex Hospital in London. He is the author of the books Living Psychoanalysis: From Theory to Experience (2014) and The Dove that Returns, The Dove that Vanishes: Paradox and Creativity in Psychoanalysis (Routledge 2000) as well as numerous publications in psychoanalytical magazines. He lectures intensively both in Europe and in America.
The lecture will be delivered in English, with Polish translation available. Admission free.
