Panel Discussion: books and self-publishing in Central and Eastern Europe

On Friday 31 May 2019, PAPERLUST Photobook Fest and MOCAK invite you to a discussion on the role of photography books and self-publishing in Central and Eastern Europe in the context of both socio-political changes and the transformation of the medium itself. The event is educational and aims to encourage collaboration. Can independent publishers be a source of social change? How have the goals of self-publishing tasks evolved in the internet era?
The discussion panel with invited experts will be led by Michał Sita (Pix.House). Participant speakers: Olja Triaška Stefanovič (Academy of Fine Arts, Bratislava), Stanislav Briza (Bflmpsvz publishing), Beáta Istvánkó (ISBN books+gallery, Budapest).
Admittance 1 zł. The event (in English) will take place in the audiovisual hall in the main building of MOCAK.
