Kama Sokolnicka – (born in 1981) visual artist, a graduate of Fine Academy of Arts in Wrocław. A scholar of the Ministry of Cultural and National Heritage (2011). She works on processes related to images as a function of memory, territoriality, perception and the need of orientation in space.

The collage used in the cover Word image is embedded in a convention with which content or the works apparent in this “MOCAK Forum” enter into interaction. This is a multicontextual convention, not foreign to the other works of the artist who works with images which not so long time ago with strength probably bigger than reality, formed the imaginations of inhabitants of Central East Europe about the West.
