On Saturday 13 December at the final ceremony at the International Cultural Centre, Senior-Friendly institutions were awarded by the Mayor of Krakow and the Marshall of the Malopolska Region. MOCAK was one of the institutions to received the prestigious title.

The winners of the 4^th edition of the action Senior-Friendly Places all boast having a wide programme of activities for senior citizens that include a spectrum of participants. The activities that they provide are tailor-made for this age group and they have continued to cater for pensioners for a number of years.

The project has been implemented since 2011 and it has been supported by the collaboration of the Krakow City Council and the Municipality of Krakow.
