Marks of Memory
The publication documents the project Marks of Memory, which presented Wojciech Wilczyk’s exhibition Post-industrial Spaces and Anita Glesta’s Guernica. The concept of memory is key in both exhibitions. Each of them, however, raises a different aspect of memory. The title of the project is ambiguous. On the one hand, it expresses the desire to commemorate and document a certain place or event, on the other, it aims to demonstrate the awkward or painful aspects of the memories that we retain.
The catalogue contains curator texts and reproductions of works as well as interviews with both artists and a short essay by Wojciech Wilczyk.
