On 16 July 2013, the workshop Little Conservators took place, organised for children from the Podgórze Cultural Centre in Krakow, led by Zofia Kerneder. During the session, the children stepped into the shoes of conservation experts. They tried to work out the potential hazards facing works of art in exhibitions and how to prevent them. The task was far from easy, since modern artists tend to employ such unusual materials as salt, concrete and plastic. After viewing works in the MOCAK Collection accompanied by the Museum curator, the participants went on to repair the damaged works.
