Libraries without Frontiers: Book Collection for Refugees and Migrants
Published at:26.01.2022
MOCAK Library team hope that you will join us in the book collection which is part of the project Libraries without Frontiers. It aims to create new libraries and support the existing libraries in the immigration detention centres.
The MOCAK Library is looking forward to receiving publications for adults and children in Kurdish (Kurmanji and Sorani), Arabic, Turkish, Dari, Pashto, Farsi, dictionaries and phrasebooks (e.g. Arabic-English, Arabic-Polish, Arabic-German), simple board games, e-book readers and art materials. The collected items will be donated to refugee centres on the eastern border of Poland.
The books and the above-mentioned items can be brought to the MOCAK Library during its opening hours, i.e. from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm. The collection started on 20 January and will continue until 13 March 2022.
