Half and Half: Art chats and artistic challenges
The educational art project Half and Half: Art Chats and Artistic Challenges is a series of three workshop sessions for adults and young people that aim to combine educational goals with the creative potential of collaborative work. The starting point of the debate will be the selected works from the MOCAK Collection:
- Jarosław Kozłowski, untitled, from the series Soft Protection, 2000;
- Mikołaj Smoczyński, untitled, from the series The Secret Performance, 1983;
- Maria Michałowska, 7 Diary Pages, 1972.
The leitmotif of the project is the individual’s alienation from the surrounding reality. The title draws on a work by Stanisław Dróżdż, Half and Half, from 1998. The workshop will be part of diploma work by Anna Czyż, from the Studio of Cultural Animation directed by Krzysztof Marchlak, PhD, and it will be the subject of her Master’s Thesis in the Faculty of ArtDesign at the Pedagogical University in Krakow.
