Dictionary: Open workshop with the Syrian poet Kholoud Charaf

On Saturday, 11 May, we would like to invite you to for the workshop run by Kholoud Charaf, a Syrian poet visiting Krakow on an ICORN grant.

Mastering a thousand words in a given language is said to allow for free communication. During the workshop, we want to choose together important, interesting and beautiful words that will combine into an illustrated Polish-Arabic Dictionary.

Kholoud Charaf is a Syrian poet and publicist. From 2018, she lives in Krakow and cooperates with the MOCAK Library. In 2016, her debut volume, Remains of the Butterfly, was released. Charaf's work has been honored with many prizes, including the most important award of the Arab literary world – the Ibn Battuta Prize.

There is no need to pre-book. The session is conducted in English, and the Museum will provide assistance with translation into Polish. Admission PLN 1.
