During 7 – 9 June, you are welcome to visit the stand of MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow at the Children’s Book Fair in Krakow.

7 – 9 June

Play Art
For the duration of the Book Fair, visitors to the MOCAK stand will find there a large-scale board game. Players will answer questions on art and economics. You can join in the game and drop out at any time during the Fair.

The aim of the project is to familiarise children and youngsters with contemporary art and economic concepts via games and didactic play as well as to encourage the public at the Book Fair to visit the exhibition Economics in Art.

7 June

10.30 am – 12 noon
Creative Collection
In the course of the workshop, the children will become acquainted with works from the MOCAK Collection and perform creative tasks involving the works.

12 noon  – 2pm
Presentation of the project A Page-Turner
Children will have an opportunity to page through over a dozen art books created during MOCAK workshops.

8 June

12 noon   - 3 pm
Doodles and Designs
An art workshop, which will result in producing the book entitled Economics in Children’s Art, inspired by works in the exhibition.

9 June

10.30 am – 12 noon
Creative Collection
In the course of the workshop, the children will become acquainted with works from the MOCAK Collection and perform creative tasks involving the works.

12 noon – 2 pm
Presentation of the project Read Books at Night
During this year’s event, there will be a presentation of the art book created during the 2013 Museums at Night.
