Charlotte Beaudry

(b. 1968) Painting, drawing. In her paintings, she often shows out-of-context snapshots of reality. Paints individual objects and people, placed against a neutral background. Photographs are the starting point for her paintings. They do not tell a story; Beaudry confronts the viewer with a ‘pure object’, untainted by narration.
