Bielutin's abstract art was in opposition to the ideological artistic diktats, obligatory in the Kruschev era. Most likely, Ely Bielutin had been inspired by snippets of information about Western art. Tashist influences can be seen in his art as well as references to Yves Klein and Cy Twombly.
