A work in which the plate is the conduit of meaning. The original version of Plating – shown at Galeria Krzysztofory – was an installation, with plates spread out on the floor and juxtaposed with other objects. The version made twenty years later combined plates with words, creating tautologies of words and images; thanks to them, worn- out words come to life again with the impact of images.
