This work consists of a double confrontation. A confrontation of the leaders of the Lithuanian National Workers’ Union, a neo-Nazi party dissolved in 2011, with images shot in Linz, Austria. It is also a confrontation between the viewer and the neo-Nazis and their ideas, representing an undeniable trend in Europe. Under their flag, peacefully, they comment, discuss things, laugh. They are not demonised; however some do make shocking comments, testimony to the trivialisation of xenophobia. Their words show the speakers’ ideological vacuum and their quest for identity in a nation beset by major changes at the dawn of the 21st century.
