Films that document experiences apparently very distant from each other. The artist himself appears in both. In the first, he is waltzing in a beautiful ballroom; in the other, he is lying naked on the river bank, his torso in plaster. However, the idea behind both films is similar. They both depict alienation and the helplessness of a man for whom life happens beside him. An interesting example of an outsider’s statement.
