Neon Light Shades

Neon lights designed by Kowalska were first installed in the Employment Office in Krakow. The ornament featuring tropical vegetationresults in lending a greenish-yellow tint to the light. The light was intended to improve the mood of employment seekers, transporting them, if only for a moment, away from the grey Polish environment and enabling them to dream about exotic, paradise-like places.The artist has also made another work with similar intent – A Window onto the Winter.
