Five-(Sometimes Six-) Dimensional Cuboids in Horizontal Section

Technique: drawing on paper
Measurement: 1960–1980

Probably a few thousand of such drawings have been created. They show a geometric mass, in which the number of radii which come out from a single point determines the number of dimensions. The process of drawing always starts with one external point, from which the shape develops and grows in such order as to allow for connecting to the line on the other side of the mass. This is an example of doodling: a private expression of creativity, used not for the public eye, but, rather, produced in order to relax and aid concentration.
